There have always been stories of boogeymen and heroes told to young and old alike. Myths and legends to incite fear and inspire valor. We humans enjoy our tales, but has it never occurred to anyone that maybe these things we speak of and sing to, aren't so mythical at all? Demons. Fairies. Urban legends. The stuff of board games and rainy-day reads have never been so real as they tear across this big blue marble in a violent bid for domination. We were not prepared for the carnage that came in the form of bedtime stories and sunday morning preachings. But we learned fast and our world isn't for the taking. The year is 2380. Will you join in the fight to save the world as a Beschützer and XERO, or will you join the Legion and take from man what you will? |
